As discussed during orientation, this is a simple evaluation to ensure that you demonstrate the basics of firearm safety and competency. Our goal is to ensure we and those around us can be safe to enjoy our sport without injury to people or damage to property. You are not timed or scored. If you do not pass, we will give you an opportunity to work with one of our instructors to develop and reinforce the basics.
Please bring with you: * Eye and ear protection (accessible without touching your firearm) * A handgun in working condition, that you are familiar with operating, properly secured in a case or holster. You don’t get extra credit for bigger calibers. A .22 is perfectly acceptable. * Magazine, if semi-auto * At least 10 rounds of ammo Please no handling of firearms until you are instructed to do so. Reach out if you have questions.
